Our Story
In 2020, a frustrated Nacho - tired of the pandemic and going stir crazy in the city - decided to go on a camping adventure to the only county on the West Coast with zero reported COVID-19 cases. Esmeralda County.
After visiting the Car Forrest he noticed a for sale sign going up on a small plot of land with an old camper trailer. He had a vision and immediately bought the place.
It began with a plot of land in the central Nevada desert and a BIG dream…
Phase II kicked off with the purchase of a used construction office trailer.
Soon the trailer was transformed into a tiny house complete with an overengineered HVAC system for AC/heat, a full-size shower, and toilet, a mini kitchen with airline carts for storage, an office/closet, and bedroom
Next came the “Smart Deck”
The vision was a huge deck - 24’ x 16’ of premium (splinter-free) composite decking with a tall overhead saltbox style roof. The roof is held together with 10,000 screws - made to withstand wind gusts of up to 200mph. The deck features roughly 225’ of RGB+W Philips Hue light strips and spotlights - 20 total light fixtures in total - all App-controlled and able to sync with the music and be controlled via Smartphone. There are two 8000W commercial electric patio heaters for heating the deck at night, as well as 56’ of water misters, ceiling fans, and shade cloth for cooling the deck during the hot Goldfield summers and coming in summer 2022 - a pond and water fountain will be added, along with a clubhouse on the other side.
The deck also has a 20” Kamado Joe charcoal smoker grill, 36” Blackstone griddle, outdoor sectional couch, lounge chairs, fire pit, outdoor bar, and full dining set. Plus 80AMP of GFI outlets for AV equipment and outdoor access points with an enterprise-grade mesh Wi-Fi. system. Lastly, there is a 1500W UPS to keep the internet and IoT devices online for up to 8 hours, and a multi-camera cloud-based security system + temperature and PurpleAir sensors.
Followed by the Club House
1000’ of indoor air-conditioned space featuring 12 sleeping spots, TV, Bowers & Wilkins Hi-Fi system, family room, and a full kitchen
The Large bedroom features 4 Heavy Duty Adult bunk beds (each bunk rated for 500lbs) outfitted with luxury award-winning mattresses (the 5 top rated matters modems) - the Casper, the Helix Pro, the Tuft + Needle Mint, the Nectar Hybrid Premium, as well as storage space and smart RGB+W Philips Hue lighting.
The small bedroom features a Queen bed with a walk-in closet. There is full modern side loading HE Laundry machines, and a full-size kitchen with appliances including two fridges and two ice makers and there is a giant 8’ lovesac in the living room for cuddling!
